What'z a little sweat?? 

It took about 3-4 hours to do this hike/walk. I got very sweaty, pulse sometimes 120, short of breath, grouchy, but in the end, worth the effort like all good things encountered in life.

This is Rickett's Glen State Park in Pa. The trail is considered very difficult hike, about 3 miles roundtrip with a gorge full of waterfalls, great scenery. It takes a lot of sweat to make the trek, but worth it. This and the next collage show many of the waterfalls, icy cold for refreshment to splash in when you like to cool off. 

This is covered bridge in Sullivan County Pa. at Forksville near the Endless Mountains of central north Pa. It brought to mind the line Clint Eastwood said in the movie Bridges of Madison County when he (as Robert told Francesca, "an opportunity like this only comes once in a lifetime. . . " 

This is R.B. Winter State Park Pennsylvania. Same weekend as Cowans Gap. We "camp" in the car, driving at leisure. Picnic at our favorite locations. The bird in center is a Cedar Wax Wing, first time I saw in peson. Last year I saw a Baltimore Oriole at Cowans Gap. 

The Gap Lake makes a nice kitchen.

Cowans Gap Lake and State Park, Pa. 

This is Cowans Gap State Park in Pennsylvania. It can get full of visitors, but this day, overcast and drizzle rain allowed us a quiet haven.  

Even in Dundalk, there's nature to enjoy. Last spring I captured a 5' black snake and put it in a trash bag, carried via my car to a park nearby and released it to the woods. I didn't want it under MY SHED. Rabbits OK, snake, NOPE. 

This is a wild bunny that hides out under my back yard shed, likes to nibble from my yard and flower beds. 

You can really enjoy NYC, there's such diversity here with all the ethnicity, insanity and serenity. 

Waiting at Bryant Park for lunch to arrive, and later Jews for Jesus and a preacher approached me for theological discussions on separate occassions.

You try to stay cool in anyway ya "can". 

Later, that night I saw "Lennon", a musical at the Broadhurst Theatre. "Imagine all the people, living life in peace. . . ."
